Q. What size vehicles will your plows work with?
A. Snowman plows are specially designed for a wide variety of vehicles, from down size 2/4 WD trucks and SUV's to heavy-duty 2 ton 4 WD vehicles. See Vehicle Applications with each model description.
Q. How easy is installation? Is there any welding or modification to the frame?
A. Installation is easy! Approximately two-hours total for the Sport/Utility and Single Cylinder models. There is no welding or modification needed to the frame on any of the models.
Q. What is involved in the removal of the plow between uses?
A. Complete easy removal for the Sport/Utility and Single Cylinder plows by removing one hitch pin and disconnecting the quick connect electrical unit at the bumper. The R and RS models require removing 2-4 hitch pins with the double mounting system.
Q. Do pull plows need to work in conjunction with front mounted plows?
A. Snownan's new Sport/Utility power angle back plows are designed to position snow without the use of a front mounted plow and works great for the homeowner and light commercial applications.
Snowman's commercial plows are designed to work in conjunction with a front plow to increase efficiency and profits. By using the 2-plow concept, commercial operators are able to carry two loads across large lots in a single pass. In addition, the back plow eliminates time consuming back dragging and works great for cleaning tight areas and dead end applications.
